حال کامل معمولا با Since و over می‌آیند. موارد زیر را مقایسه کرده و به واژه‌های زمانی دقت کنید.

For is used to describe a period of time	Since is used to refer to the start of period of time	Over uses similar time markers to for but is used to express a change in condition, or to describe a repeated event.
I have been treating the patient for 3 years. The patient has been on this medication for 6 months. I haven’t seen the patient for 1 year. The patient has been in pain for 5 hours.
